My story as an artist
I greet you! My name is Yaroslava Bratus, I’m from Ukraine.
I genuinely believe my mission is to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of the environment and pass it through myself into art.
How it started
I have loved to draw since childhood but did not participate in competitions nor attend art college. For me, art is meant to inspire thought, broaden horizons, calm emotions, and form moral principles. In today’s world, it is so complicated and at the same time essential to maintain inner harmony and your soul. The primary source of my inspiration is nature. The merging of man with nature makes it possible to observe things invisible to the naked eye in ordinary social life. In my works, I track emotions and immerse myself in them.

I urge you not to remain indifferent to your inner self and pay attention to the beauty surrounding you.
Our life is a dialogue with ourselves and with what surrounds us. Let’s fill ourselves with lyrical content, not forgetting the nature of its origin.
The first paintings
The first paintings came out of a desire to know myself, and it was like a hobby. But art has to go to society, and I started painting, taking into account people’s wishes. In my opinion, art, more than any other social phenomenon, fully reflects the changes in human consciousness. I hope to draw your attention to various manifestations of beauty, the range of emotions and feelings through my works.
